The world-famous Chianti DOCG wine, which is made primarily from Sangiovese grapes, is produced in the provinces of Florence, Prato, Pisa, Siena, and Arezzo. But the most well-known designation is undoubtedly Chianti Classico. This is the wine that comes from an area between Florence and Siena and is so named because this region has a truly ancient winemaking tradition.

Radda in Chianti
Radda in Chianti is a small town whose historic center lies within medieval city walls that are still intact.
The town hall is housed in the Palazzo del Podestà , built in the 15th century.
The wedding room is located on the first floor of this building, but it is also possible to exchange vows under the arcade arches at the entrance of the building. The frescoes at the entrance date from the 16th century.
Castellina in Chianti
Castellina in Chianti has its origins in the Etruscan period, but its current form dates from the late Middle Ages.
In the heart of the village stands a small castle, "La Rocca," which was also built during that period.
Today it houses an archaeological museum, the Museo Archeologico del Chianti Senese, and within the tower of this building lies the simple yet beautiful wedding room.
Greve in Chianti
Greve in Chianti takes its name from the small river that runs through the town (the Greve). Greve is the largest town in the Chianti Classico area.
In the 13th century the town was completely burned down by the Count of Lucca and rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries.
The town is famous for its asymmetrical square with the statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano, on which the town hall is also situated. The wedding ceremony is performed in the Council Chamber.
