Finding
the right venue is the heart of your Tuscan wedding. Over the years I
have built up a personal selection of properties I know inside out: I know the owners, I know the spaces, and I know which venues suit
which kind of wedding or event.
All
venues are set in the rolling Tuscan landscape, within easy reach of
beautiful cities, Chianti wine estates and the Tuscan coast. They can
be booked in combination with my planning service.
An agriturismo is a renovated farmhouse where agricultural products are still being produced (in Tuscany usually wine and olive oil). The renovated farmhouses consist of several apartments/rooms and are situated in the hilly landscape of Tuscany. We can organize your wedding dinner at the accommodation in their restaurant (when available) or have it catered by a catering service. Many agriturismi require a minimum stay of 1 week in July and August, but at some accommodations a stay of 3 nights is also possible. At this type of accommodation, guests can easily extend their stay.
This type of accommodation usually offers the most flexibility for you and your guests. Bed & Breakfasts and holiday homes can be found in small villages and art cities, as well as in the hilly Tuscan countryside. You can book the stay per day; during high season the minimum stay is usually 3 nights. When the accommodation has a suitable location for the wedding dinner, this is often arranged by a catering service. This type of accommodation offers good opportunities for guests to extend their stay.
Tuscany offers many beautiful villas with rooms and apartments for you and your guests. There are many stunning villas in the hills. We can organize the wedding dinner at the villa, catered by an external catering service or the villa's own restaurant. A villa takes you back in time and adds that extra touch of luxury to your wedding. Most villas require a minimum stay of 2 nights up to a week during high season.
If you are looking for luxury, Tuscany has beautiful hotels, villas, resorts and castles to offer. Whether it is a hotel overlooking the city of Florence or located right in the heart of the city, or a luxury resort in the middle of the hills.
